Laurel Valley Weekly Farmers Market

The market is open each Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is set up in front of the Laurel Valley Store and Museum in Thibodaux. Vendors will be selling a variety produce and handcrafted items including jewelry, soaps and candles, seafood, and tasty treats like jams, jellies, cookies, and other baked items.

The Laurel Valley Acadian Heritage Spring Festival is a lively, family-friendly event held annually on the fourth Sunday in April at the historic Laurel Valley Store & Museum in Thibodaux, Louisiana. This year’s festival is scheduled for April 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HOPE for Animals Annual Barktoberfest 2025

HOPE for Animals, a no-kill rescue organization, is hosting Barktoberfest at the Laurel Valley Store & Museum in Thibodaux, LA, on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The event is a fundraiser for the rescue organization and will feature a variety of activities, including vendor booths, games, and a silent auction.

Laurel Valley Heritage Festival Fall 2023

Laurel Valley has two annual festivals each year in the spring and fall. they’re always held the last Sunday in April and the 3rd Sunday in October, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Festival goers can enjoy dancing to authentic Cajun music, a delightful assortment of our hometown cooking and homemade baked goods, and browse through dozens of tents filled with a broad selection of handmade crafts, artistry, jewelry, scented soaps and candles, and lots more.

For vendors interested in participating, there is a $25 registration fee that will be collected on the day of the event. Spots are on a first-come, first-served basis, and setup begins at 7 a.m. on the day of the festival.
