Laurel Valley offers historic village tours twice a day at 10 am and 2 pm seven days a week. Booking tours in advance is always the best way to ensure a spot. Click here to book now!
The tours typically last about an hour and a half, and there’s a bit of walking involved, so we always recommend our guests wear good shoes, and possibly bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and/or a hat.
Tours begin at the Laurel Valley Store & Museum, which is where we meet our guests, then move to the village area about 1.7 miles down the Laurel Valley Road, where visitors will get a chance to walk through a few of the historic buildings on the site as they learn about the history and culture.
All income from these tours goes toward preservation of the site and making it more inviting for our visitors. Tours start at $17 per guest, with discounts for children, senior citizens, military, and groups of 10 or more. Call us for more information or with any questions at 985-492-0782.
